I am a normal guy a with average handy man skills and this all starts with my mother coming over from the UK to live here in Australia with me I have given her some of my land to have a house and she has given me all the money she has to build a house for her, with a total of just $25,000 AUD to build and furnish the house I had look hard, I explored kit homes but they were about $25,000 AUD and that was just the shell which I would need to build, I looked at prefab houses but they were too expensive, and often too small, so I settled on shipping containers, I had told my story to people and everyone told me I should write a blog, I am no writer nor do i claim to be I have done an enormous amount of research so to fit everything in budget and so I hope what I have learnt may help others too, so this is my story so far and as I go so I hope you enjoy what I have experienced and yet to experience and join me on my journey.
